To serve in the grassroot level a voluntary association called Amala Fellowship was started in 1982 with public initiative. The Fellowship has 20 units at various districts of Kerala. The members of Amala Fellowship are chosen strictly by invitation.

The Fellows are invited to make awareness among the general public regarding the humanitarian motives of the institution, its scope of service and its facilities. Fellowship units used to conduct conscientization campaigns, lecture sessions and free Cancer detection camps in their areas of service. They can also direct patients and persons suspected of malignancy to the Hospital and recommend the deserving for financial benefits and concessions.
