Surgery remains one of the principal modalities of the cancer treatment. In Amala cancer surgery has services of surgeons specialised in surgical Oncology, Thorasic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Orthopaedics, E.N.T., Plastic and Reconstructive, Oral & Maxillofacial, Dental and Gynaecological surgery.

Theatre complex comprised three air-conditioned surgery suites. It has a total floor area of 4800 square feet's. Surgery suites are well equipped with advanced lighting systems, oxygen and suction systems, anaesthesia machine, monitors and electrosurgical cauteries etc. Instrumentation includes an advanced Operating Microscope with objectives suitable for diverse surgical requirements such as Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, E.N.T. Surgery, etc. Attached to Department of Gynaecology a minor theatre is also functioning. Another 5000 sq.ft. dedicated theatre complex with central system (centralized O₂, N₂0, vacuum & compressed air) is recently constructed.
